Wanda Nara was born on December 10, 1986, in Boulogne Sur Mer, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Andrés Nara and Nora Colosimo. She has a younger sister named Zaira Nara.
Wanda began her career in the 2005–2006 summer theater season, performing as a second vedette in the revue Humor en custodia. In the following season (2006–2007), she joined King Corona led by Jorge Corona but left the show two months later, claiming she was harassed by the comedian and his wife. The incident gained major media attention, boosting her popularity in Argentina.
In 2007, she appeared on the TV show Showmatch in the segment “Patinando por un sueño.” Two years later, she joined El musical de tus sueños and performed impressively. In 2011, she participated in Bailando 2011 but soon left the show when she moved to Italy with her then-husband, footballer Maxi López. Her sister Zaira Nara replaced her on the show.
In 2018, Wanda joined the Italian sports program Tiki Taka – Il calcio è il nostro gioco as a co-host, replacing Melissa Satta. The show aired on Italia 1 and Canale 5 until 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she left the program that year and later appeared as a commentator on Grande Fratello VIP.
